GUYS

So apparently Mako’s scarf belonged to his father once and it’s all he has of him and it keeps him safe.

Korra wore Mako’s scarf presumably on Mako’s suggestion during the Revelation. And I’m probably reading too much into this, but Mako was trying to keep Korra, the Avatar, safe with that tiny, unconscious gesture.

I’m squealing at this thought and I really really really want to go and write a drabble.
