B-Day Wish

dearoldlove:

Since we split we’ve each had three birthdays. On your first, I called and wished you a happy birthday. On the second, I texted. And on the third, I Facebook-messaged you. I didn’t receive a single message from you, and that’s all I hope for every year.

“You’re smiling.”
His lashes momentarily concealed his reaction to her statement, but she was persistent; with gentle hands she cradled his face, relishing the smiling curves of his cheeks that confirmed her observation, and his grey eyes bore into hers in amusement.
“I don’t even know what that word means, Granger.” he responded gruffly.
Hermione raised a brow. “Well you are smiling. See this?” she touched the uptilted corners of his lips. “That’s a smile. It’s so different from the smirks you used to have,”
He pretended to look affronted. “No shit, Granger. I’m not some grinning, whimsical Hufflepuff that shows too much teeth, for your information.”
She gave him a mock scolding look. “Leave the Hufflepuffs out of this, Draco. You’re really smiling! May I know what brought this on?” she lightly traced the outline of his mouth as she awaited his answer.
She could feel him smiling even when their lips were already occupied with each other. “Because you’re wearing my favourite colour.”

Draco/Hermione in Paris | Merry Christmas Viv! You are so talented and flawless and I am so glad I met you this year. [insert witty drabble here ;D]

The scowl was set deep in Draco Malfoy’s face as he watched the witch in front of him. He pursed his lips, narrowed his eyes, and snatched her copy of The Greatest Witches in History and What They Did out of her hands.

“No,” He said sternly, “More reading. It is no longer allowed on this trip. I forbid it.” Draco tossed the book over his shoulder hoping he could hear it slap against the wall in a satisfactory way. He was disappointed when Hermione silently charmed it to float softly onto the plush carpet of the hotel room.
“You can’t forbid reading,” Whined Hermione and added a little pout to her complaint to help her case. She leaned back against the couch they were sharing and crossed her arms, looking as dejected as she possibly could.
“Too late I already did.” He smirked triumphantly. “We are in the city of love Granger and so far you only love the books.”
“Draco are you feeling rejected? Or maybe a little left out?” She watched him nod, concern streaking across her face. The corners of her mouth twitched, just a tiny bit as she leaned closer to him. His mouth inches away from her own, their breaths puffing against the others lips. Hermione’s eyes grazed his face and stared for a moment into his gray eyes before slowly leaning forward before her lips were just a whisper away from his.
“You’re absolutely right; I’ve been completely neglecting what’s really important here.” The words fell on her own lips, but if Draco hadn’t been able to hear her, he would have felt them also being formed on his own. The makings of a victorious smile began to take shape before Hermione pulled back and swiftly got off the couch.
She strode over to the large French doors that led to the balcony. She pushed them open and was met with the warm summer air and an incredible view of the Eiffel tower. Hermione felt a genuine smile erupt across her face and she let out a small giggle at how silly she truly had been, hiding away in the suite when this sight awaited her.
“Draco, come and look at the view.”

YES!! I LOVE IT!
